At Buttonwood Behavioral Health Hospital, we strive to provide patients with quality effective treatment programs in a minimally restrictive environment. We have structured our program and approach to ideally support this goal. The Buttonwood methodology includes:

At Buttonwood Behavioral Health Hospital, our approach to treatment is defined by our clinical goals. We aspire to effect meaningful change in the lives and behavioral patterns of our patients. Rather than superficially addressing negative behavioral patterns by merely taming or temporarily regulating them, we formulate a treatment regimen that endeavors to generate lasting improvement.
A cornerstone of Buttonwood Behavioral Health Hospital's treatment approach is identifying and isolating behavioral root causes. Often a specific environmental or other tangential element can be a factor in triggering negative behaviors. Rather than limiting treatment to the narrow scope of modifying the behavior itself, our team networks to devise the ideal functional setting for each individual.
It is important and beneficial for family and friends to provide continual support and involvement with patient’s treatment. Upon patient’s consent, we encourage family members to participate in your Treatment Team meetings.
Buttonwood's entire team works in tandem to help achieve tangible results. This integrated approach means that things like diet, individual recreation program, and even housekeeping are considered from each patient's perspective.

The diverse program offers a variety of treatment modalities including:

One-to-one/group therapy
